Ingredients
Hilsa Fish 300gms (2pcs)
Turmeric powder 5gms
Black Mustard 15 gms
Yellow mustard 30 gms
Grated coconut 20 gms
Salt to taste
Mustard Oil 50 ml
Banana leaf 1 no
Green Chilli 5 gms
Lemon grass 10 Gms
METHOD:
- Soak yellow and black mustard seeds together and make a paste with coconut.
- Put salt, turmeric and mustard oil on this paste.
- Marinate fish with this paste, taste the seasoning and keep aside for 30 mins.
- Wrap the marinated fish with banana leaf, steam it in double boiler for 10 mins.
- Serve hot with steamed rice
