Come  tomorrow  and the Travel Destination Germany will hold its  Annual Press Conference 2025  at the German Embassy in Chanakyapuri in New Delhi.

On this occasion,  the Germany Embassy in New Delhi and German National Tourist Office ( India) in New Delhi will explore the sustainable tourism offers and historical attractions in Germany.

The Deputy Head of Mission of the German Embassy will give the welcome address and Mr. Romit Theophillus, Director, German  National Tourist Office ( India) in New Delhi  will give an audio visual presentation to the media.

The annual press conference  2025 will focus on  themes – Embrace German Nature, culture, honeymoon and wedding tourism, 50 years German German Fairytale route and 275 th anniversary of the  Death of the Bach.

Last year the German National Tourist Office ( India) successfully hosted a four city roadshow in  the country at Mumbai, Hyderabad,New Delhi and Bengaluru. More than 120 travel agents and media persons were present during each of  these spectacular roadshows of the German National Tourist Office in India.

The duration of overnight stays by Indian tourists to Germany has significantly increased since 2019. In 2023 the number of  overnight stays in hotels and guest houses in 2023 has increased by a whopping 33 percent compared to the previous year by Indian travellers to Germany.

It has also co hosted events with Lufthansa Group in Jaipur and Coimbattore last year. Germany’s popularity as a popular  travel destination to Indian tourists is growing day by day as the number of footfalls increases almost every year.

On the other hand, the Indian Ministry of Tourism has also successfully participated in ITB Berlin 2025 and  had set up  a stall there.
