241 people on board have been killed and one passenger has survived in the Ahmedabad Air Indian Boeing Aircraft crash. Samples of 11 victims have been matched and the first dead body has been handed over today to the family members at Ahmedabad. The aircraft went complete maintenance test in June 2023 and its left side engine was overhauled in March. Complete investigations in the plane crash tragedy has started and MoCA has formed several high level committees for investigations and suggestions for future aviation safety measures. After Tata Group, now Air India has also announced a compensation of Rs.25 lakhs to the victims of the plane crash tragedy, earlier Tata Group has announced a compensation of Rs.1 crores. Besides the crew and air passengers, a large number of civilians have also been killed after the crash and deadly blast in the vicinity of the hostel of the medical college. Civil Aviation minister Ram Mohan Naidu said today that there are 34 fleets of 787 Boeing Dreamliners operating in India out of which 8 are already inspected and the rest will be inspected soon . |
