The admission process for the BBA (Tourism and Hospitality) course at Manyawar Kanshiram Institute of Tourism Management (MKITM), Lucknow, run by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department is currently underway. This three-year degree course, affiliated with the University of Lucknow (LU), is designed for students aspiring to build a career in the tourism and hospitality industry. The institute has extended the deadline for admissions, allowing interested students to apply until the newly announced last date.
Admissions for various programs at MKITM for the academic session 2025–26 are ongoing. Students who missed filling out the entrance form for Lucknow University or were unable to do so due to any reason can still apply through the direct admission route. According to the college administration, admissions will be granted on a “first-come, first-served” basis against limited seats. Interested candidates can enroll until August 31.
The BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) in Tourism and Hospitality offered by MKITM is a significant initiative aimed at empowering youth for careers in the tourism and hospitality sector. This undergraduate program provides practical training in hotel management, organizational behavior, accounting and finance, travel agency operations, food production, housekeeping, and personality development. The primary goal of the institute is to equip students with employment-oriented education and prepare them to meet the evolving demands of the tourism industry.
The last date for admission to the BBA Tourism and Hospitality program has now been extended to August 31, 2025. Applications can be submitted through both online and offline modes. Eligible candidates will be admitted based on merit. The institute has outlined specific eligibility criteria for this course: general and OBC category applicants must have secured at least 50% marks in their Intermediate examination, while SC/ST candidates must have a minimum of 45%.
For the 2025–26 academic session, MKITM has announced the fee structure for the BBA Tourism and Hospitality program. The semester fee is set at Rs. 29,000, with an additional registration fee of Rs. 500. The institute also offers air-conditioned residential hostel facilities on campus, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for students with essential amenities such as security and a mess.
