The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, made a vibrant mark on the opening day of the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Mumbai 2025, being held from 11th to 13th August at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

At TTF Mumbai 2025, Goa Tourism presented its Regenerative Tourism initiatives through a diverse showcase of projects and experiences. Highlights included community-led tourism ventures in the hinterlands, heritage village trails, and cultural programmes that support local artisans and performers. Visitors were treated to glimpses of local crafts, culinary highlights, and community-based tourism models that are transforming the state’s travel landscape.

Mr. Rohan A. Khaunte,  Minister for Tourism, said, “TTF Mumbai is an excellent platform to engage with travel industry stakeholders and showcase Goa’s vision for sustainable and regenerative growth in tourism. We want to present Goa not just as a destination, but as an experience that preserves its natural beauty, nurtures communities, and celebrates culture all year round.”

Mr. Kedar Naik, Director of Tourism, Government of Goa, added, “Goa’s tourism is evolving with new experiences that go beyond the coastline. At TTF, we are highlighting opportunities for year-round travel that balance discovery with responsibility.”

Smt. Diya Kumari, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Rajasthan, visited the Goa Tourism pavilion at TTF Mumbai 2025 and interacted with Goa Tourism delegates Mr. Rajesh Kale, Deputy Director, Department of Tourism, and Smt. Chitra Vengurlekar, Assistant Tourist Officer, Department of Tourism; Mr. Chandrashekhar Kopardekar, manager, GTDC; Smt Janvi Kharat, Department of Tourism and others.

On Day 1, the Department delegation also engaged with several leading travel operators, media representatives, and tourism boards to foster collaborations aimed at expanding Goa’s domestic reach.

Goa Tourism’s presence at TTF Mumbai 2025 showcased its vision for a tourism industry that values culture, community, and the environment. With fresh experiences and sustainable initiatives, the state is inviting travellers to discover a Goa that is as inspiring as it is enduring.
