Low cost airlines, SpiceJet has recently shared that as per the Directorate General of Civil Aviation’s (DGCA) recent safety audit findings covering all scheduled airlines over the last one year, the airline recorded nil Level 1 findings – the most serious category of observations in such audits.
Safety has always been paramount at SpiceJet, and this outcome is a strong endorsement of the airline’s robust safety culture, strict adherence to regulatory requirements, and alignment with global best practices in aviation safety.
SpiceJet is deeply committed to upholding the highest safety standards in every aspect of its operations and the DGCA’s findings reaffirm our focus on operational excellence, compliance, and global best practices.
Earlier in March this year, SpiceJet successfully renewed its prestigious IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification, a globally recognised benchmark for operational safety, valid until March 2027. The IOSA audit, conducted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), is a rigorous, internationally accepted evaluation of an airline’s operational management and control systems. This achievement further reaffirms SpiceJet’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest safety and operational standards.
