Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport celebrated Pujo in a landmark way with the unveiling of the Chocolate Durga 2025 on the auspicious day of Mahalaya, 21st Sunday — an artful avatar created by renowned Krishnanagarmrittshilpi Raja Pal, blending heritage with modern imagination. The moment came alive with the presence of Pandit Ajay Chakraborty, Usha Uthup, Tanmoy Bose, Shiladitya Choudhury and Rishi Jain, MD of Jain Group alongside Kolkata’s eminent guests, marking it as one of the city’s most iconic festive beginnings.
Adding flavour to the celebration was the launch of the Bonedi Bari Bhoj — a Puja buffet inspired by the grandeur of North Kolkata’s aristocratic households. The spread reimagined heritage recipes into an indulgent dining journey, featuring ShorsheBhapa Maach, Chingri Malai Curry, Lal Mangsher Jhol, Kolkata Chicken Tikka Biryani, and vegetarian gems such as Aloo Jhinge Posto, Pur Bhora Potol Dolma, ChhanarDhakai Korma, and Basanti Pulao with Phulko Luchi. To close on a sweet note, the buffet showcased SitabhogandMihidana from Bardhaman, Rosogolla, Labanga Latika, Nolen Gur Ice Cream, and Gangarampur-er Kheer Doi.
Priced at ₹1,666 all inclusive, the Bonedi Bari Bhoj is more than a buffet — it’s a festive story plated with nostalgia, flavour, and the warmth of IHG’s True Hospitality.
