SUNDAY Hotel, the premium hotel brand of PRISM, the parent company of OYO, is entering wildlife tourism segment with plans to launch 10 properties across India’s most popular national parks and reserves within the next six months. The journey begins with the opening of its first wildlife property, SUNDAY Hotel & Resort at Kiyari Kham located near the Jim Corbett National Park.
Nestled amidst dense forests and winding creeks, the hotel is located about 10 km from the Amdanda Gate of Jim Corbett National Park, one of the park’s main entry points. It offers guests a seamless blend of luxury and nature with more than 50 rooms in different categories like Premium, Attic, and Family Rooms as well as Suites, many with private balconies overlooking the forest. These rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air-conditioning, high-definition LED TVs, Wi-Fi connectivity, tea/coffee stations, and elegantly designed lounge areas.
Guests can unwind at the outdoor swimming pool, multi-cuisine restaurant, bar, and bonfire zones, or host gatherings at the business halls and event lawns, making it ideal for both leisure and destination weddings. The hotel also offers curated nature-based experiences such as guided safaris, nature walks, riverside trails, bird-watching tours, yoga and wellness sessions, and stargazing nights, all conducted under expert supervision for a safe and authentic experience.

With over 65 lakh domestic and international tourists visiting India’s national parks and wildlife sanctuaries annually, India’s jungle tourism sector is growing at over 15% annually, as per industry estimates. The growth is driven by rising disposable incomes, a renewed focus on nature-led experiences, and the increasing demand for eco-conscious, short-haul getaways as well as destination weddings.
SUNDAY hotels, a premium brand of four-star and five-star hotels, was originally launched in May 2023 through a joint venture between Softbank Group and Oravel Stays.
