HYDERABAD | 12 NOVEMBER 2025

Orlo – The Indian Cuisine Restaurant is an invitation to gather, share, and celebrate. Born from the founders’ desire to create an intimate, welcoming, and warm dining space, Orlo captures the essence of Indian hospitality – where every flavour feels familiar, and every gesture says, “Aur lo” (have some more). It’s a place to fill your plate and your heart – with food, stories, and togetherness.

THE FOOD STORY PILLARS:

Community-Forward-

At the heart of every meal is connection. Orlo – The Indian Cuisine Restaurant brings people together over regional Indian cuisines that celebrate culture, diversity, and a shared love for food. Everyone’s welcome here – with open arms and full hearts.

Honest-

Simple, soulful, and rooted in India’s culinary traditions. Every dish at Orlo stays true to its origins – letting authentic ingredients and craftsmanship take centre stage.

Vibrant-

Bursting with colour, flavour, and joy — Orlo’s food mirrors the rhythm of India. Playful textures, bold spices, and the spirit of celebration come together in every bite.

The Orlo Duality Experience-

Orlo – The Indian Cuisine Restaurant is a dynamic new-age eatery that seamlessly shifts in character through the day. By afternoon, it offers a comforting mess-style lunch — wholesome set meals served with speed and soul. Come evening, it transforms into an à la carte dining space that’s relaxed, exploratory, and full of discovery. This fluid transition brings a dual energy to Orlo, celebrating both tradition and spontaneity.

ORLO BY DAY-

Orlo – The Indian Cuisine Restaurant welcomes you to a wholesome and abundant lunch experience in a vibrant urban mess-style setting. The focus is on quick, fresh, and hearty meals that nourish and comfort. Walk in to enjoy plentiful dishes inspired by regional cuisines from Punjab, Rajasthan, Bengal, and Assam — served on a rotating menu that brings new flavours to your plate each day.

ORLO BY NIGHT-

As the sun sets, Orlo transforms into a spirited highball bar and an elegant à la carte dining space. Evenings here flow effortlessly — from relaxed sundowners to lively after-parties — all set against stunning views of the Cable Bridge and Durgam Cheruvu.

At the highball bar, every drink is “high on India.” Inspired by quarter bottles from thekas, sodas from paan shops, and nostalgic banta bottles from summer afternoons, our cocktails blend bold regional spirits with fizzy homemade mixers. The result is casual, nostalgic, and unmistakably Indian — a celebration of familiar flavours with a fresh, playful twist.

Vikksit Hospitality-

ORLO is part of the Vikksit Hospitality group, which operates on the philosophy of “Intentional Hospitality” — the belief that every interaction is an opportunity to foster genuine human connection. Rooted in warmth and authenticity, Vikksit’s approach is about crafting spaces that go beyond service to create meaningful experiences.

Housed in the same building, ORLO is one among several distinctive concepts Vikksit plans to unveil in the coming months — each designed to reflect the group’s vision of thoughtful, community-driven hospitality.

The Founders:

Vickas Passary, the visionary behind Vikksit Hospitality, believes that restaurants are powerful cultural spaces that bring people together. Inspired by a desire to give back to the city that has given him so much, Vickas brings his signature style of hospitality — one defined by passion, attention to detail, and heartfelt service — to every venture.

His earlier successes include MOB, India’s only Belgian beer house; Little Italy; and So. The Sky Kitchen. Together with his wife Vinita Passary, he also founded Translate | Ikat India, a handwoven clothing brand dedicated to reviving the traditional art of Ikat through collaborations with local artisans. The duo also curated Anonym, a boutique retail store featuring inspired and unconventional garments from across India.

Ashwini Maisekar transitioned from finance to hospitality, bringing with her a strong foundation as a Chartered Accountant and experience across credit underwriting, investment banking, and fund management. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep desire to create spaces that connect people, she combines discipline and empathy to nurture communities rooted in warmth, humility, and honesty.

Kshitij Bhuraria, an alumnus of IHM Mumbai and GBC Toronto, has spent six years honing his expertise in hospitality across India and abroad. His professional journey — from The Taj Mahal Palace and Café Coffee Day to global brands like Swiss Chalet and Pickle Barrel in Canada — shaped his understanding of authentic guest experiences. Now back in Hyderabad, Kshitij brings his creativity, ambition, and youthful energy to Vikksit, playing a key role in shaping projects that are heartfelt, memorable, and people-first.

Dhruv Agarwal began his career in finance, gaining valuable experience in investment banking and private equity before realizing his true passion lay in building meaningful experiences. With an entrepreneurial mindset and a drive for innovation, Dhruv combines financial acumen with a people-centric approach to create spaces that foster connection and lasting memories.
