India Tourism Kolkata Office, under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India organized a Workshop on Mudra Loan for Homestay on 19 November 2025 in India Tourism Kolkata Office Conference Hall, in association with ATSB (Association of Tourism Service Providers of Bengal).
The programme aimed to spread awareness about financial support available under the Mudra Loan scheme for developing homestay facilities in the tourism sector.
Mrs. Jigyasa Kumari, Branch Head of Punjab National Bank, Chowringhee Branch Kolkata -71, addressed the participants and explained the complete process related to Mudra Loans, including eligibility, documentation and key benefits.
Mr. Pranav Prakash, Deputy Director General (DDG) and Regional Director ( East) of India Tourism, Kolkata was also present and spoke on the occasion.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion, allowing participants to clarify doubts directly making the workshop highly informative and impactful.
