Sunday PropTech Limited (also known as OYO Assets), a PRISM-backed hospitality ownership company, has paid dividends to shareholders as part of its shareholder-friendly capital return policy. The company paid out 5% of its annual EBITDA to shareholders, funded through operating cash flows. The distribution reflects the company’s disciplined capital allocation strategy and growing confidence in earnings stability as the portfolio scales.

Sunday PropTech focuses on acquiring and developing high-quality assets in the premium hospitality space, with a long-term objective of generating consistent returns and capital appreciation. The company continues to scale its portfolio of premium and mid-premium hotels globally. Currently in its first full year of operations, it is targeting strong year-on-year growth in FY27, supported by a strengthened pipeline and improving operating leverage. The portfolio is operating at a proforma EBITDA of approximately ₹60 crore, reflecting improving asset performance.

Commenting on the payout, Saurav Agarwal, Board Member, Sunday PropTech, said, “Our objective is to build a high-quality hospitality asset portfolio that delivers both sustainable growth and consistent cash returns. The dividend payout reflects the strength of our operating model and our confidence in the long-term cash-generating potential of the company, while continuing to reinvest prudently for future growth.”

Sunday PropTech recently acquired a portfolio of eight premium serviced-apartment hotels, which will be operated under PRISM’s brand ecosystem, including Sunday Hotels, Belvilla and other suitable brands. The assets will leverage PRISM’s full-stack technology, distribution capabilities and centralized revenue management platform to drive occupancy growth, pricing optimisation and margin expansion. The combined value of the properties is approximately ₹800 crore, and the acquisition was funded through a mix of debt and equity, in line with the company’s capital allocation framework.
