The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, will host the National Tourism Conclave on 30 September 2026 in New Delhi.

Centred on the theme “Tourism as an Economic Engine: Technology, Policy, Investment & Global Partnerships,” the high-level summit aims to chart the future roadmap for India’s rapidly expanding travel and hospitality sectors.

The conclave arrives at a pivotal moment as the federal government elevates tourism into a strategic national priority. Discussions will focus heavily on scaling up eco-tourism, spiritual tourism, and heritage destination development to cement India’s position as a top-tier global travel hub.

An elite lineup of policymakers and industry leaders are slated to address the event. Invited dignitaries include Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, alongside Shri Suresh Gopi, Minister of State for Tourism. Regional administrative perspectives will be represented by Delhi Tourism Minister Shri Kapil Mishra and West Bengal Tourism Minister Dr Shankar Ghosh. Key bureaucrats driving policy, including Tourism Secretary Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar and Director General of Tourism Shri Suman Billa, will also share the platform.
