(Graduates transition into Assistant Manager roles across key hotel functions as Sarovar Hotels begins Batch 3 of its leadership development programme)

Sarovar Hotels has marked the successful completion of Batch 2 of the Sarovar Leadership Development Program (SLDP), with 17 Management Trainees graduating from the programme and transitioning into Assistant Manager roles across key functions including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage Service, Kitchen and Sales.
Designed to build a strong pipeline of future hospitality leaders, SLDP combines structured learning with hands-on exposure, enabling participants to strengthen their functional expertise, leadership capabilities and professional competencies. Following the completion of the programme, the graduates have been placed across Sarovar Hotels in destinations including Jaipur, Chandigarh, Agra, Sriperumbudur, Goa, Bhubaneswar, Gurugram and Lucknow, among others.
As part of their transition into Assistant Manager roles, the graduates will take on greater responsibilities within their respective functions while continuing to develop their capabilities through on-the-job experience and exposure to hotel operations.
Commenting on the occasion, Mielle Batliwala, VP – Human Resource, Sarovar Hotels, said: “The graduation of Batch 2026 is an important milestone for the Sarovar Leadership Development Program and, more importantly, for the 17 young professionals who have successfully completed this journey. The success of Batch 2 also marks the beginning of the next phase of the programme, with SLDP Batch 2027 commencing on 3 September 2026. The new cohort of 23 will undergo a similar structured development journey, gaining exposure to various aspects of hospitality operations while preparing to take on progressively larger responsibilities within the organisation.
Through SLDP, Sarovar Hotels continues to invest in building a future-ready talent pipeline and creating clear pathways for career progression within the hospitality industry in partnership with Indian School of Hospitality. The programme reflects the company’s broader commitment to developing talent internally and equipping young professionals with the skills and experience required to grow into leadership roles.
