Brightsun Travel India undertook a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative at The Earth Saviours Foundation, a Gurugram-based NGO that provides essential care and shelter to abandoned senior citizens, mentally and physically challenged individuals, and the destitute from across India.
As part of the initiative, a dedicated team from Brightsun visited the Foundation’s shelter home to volunteer their time and interact with more than 500 residents. The company also sponsored a special lunch for all at the facility, creating a sense of togetherness and comfort through a shared meal. For many of the residents, who have endured abandonment or extreme hardships, the gesture offered not only nourishment but also a moment of dignity and celebration.
In addition, Brightsun Travel contributed vital equipment including a hospital bed and a wheelchair. These donations, though modest, are indispensable to the Foundation’s daily work and will directly support the quality of medical care and physical assistance provided to residents.

Adding perspective from the residents, one individual shared his journey of recovery: “I suffered a brain haemorrhage and was abandoned by my family after multiple surgeries. The Earth Saviours Foundation gave me a home, care, and dignity. After six surgeries, I am now recovering and able to contribute by helping the Foundation with accounts and finances. The visit from Brightsun Travel reminded us that we are not forgotten and that our lives still hold purpose.”
The experience left a lasting impression on Brightsun staff, who were moved by stories like this. Listening to residents speak about recovery, resilience, and finding new ways to contribute motivated the team to take forward this spirit of engagement in their own lives. Many staff members expressed a renewed commitment to volunteer work and pledged to continue supporting community initiatives, both personally and through the company’s future CSR efforts.
