With a distinguished career spanning over 13 years, Barnendu brings a rich background in human resources, learning & development, and talent management across leading hospitality and corporate brands. His strategic approach to employee engagement, organizational development, and compliance has consistently driven impactful outcomes across the properties he has served. An alumnus of Edinburgh Napier University (UK) and Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, he also holds a certification as a “Train the Trainer” professional, reinforcing his passion for nurturing talent and driving learning excellence.

In his role at Hyatt Centric Ballygunge Kolkata, Barnendu will spearhead all core HR functions including recruitment, compliance, learning & development, and performance management. His leadership will be instrumental in building a cohesive and motivated team, aligned with the hotel’s commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through empowered colleagues.

Hyatt Centric Ballygunge Kolkata  has also announced  the appointment of Raju Biswas as Housekeeping Manager, recognizing his extensive expertise in housekeeping operations and his dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and operational efficiency.

With a distinguished career spanning over 17 years, Raju brings a strong background in team leadership, pre-opening setups, and guest-centric service across some of the country’s most renowned hospitality brands. His meticulous approach to detail, calm professionalism, and commitment to operational excellence have consistently elevated guest experiences in the properties he has served.

In his role at Hyatt Centric Ballygunge Kolkata, Raju will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning, maintaining hygiene and safety protocols, and upholding brand standards across the hotel. His leadership will play a key role in enhancing both back-of-house efficiency and front-of-house presentation, contributing meaningfully to overall guest satisfaction.
