BUTWAL ( NEPAL) | 7 JANUARY 2026

The recently opened Hyatt Place Butwal has announced that Tushar Nagar will lead the property as General Manager. In this role, Tushar oversees all aspects of daily operations, strategic growth initiatives, financial performance and stakeholder engagement, building a culture focused on the highest standards of guest satisfaction and operational quality.

A career spanning over 15 years helped him build a strong foundation in service excellence and team development. Tushar steers the 109-room Hyatt Place Butwal towards excellence by implementing his learnings from a diverse experience across some of India’s leading hospitality brands.

He has held key managerial as well as F&B leadership roles at JW Marriott Chandigarh, The Oberoi Amarvilas Agra, Park Hyatt Chennai, Hyatt Regency Ludhiana, The Westin Pune and more recently Courtyard by Marriott Shillong, before he took on his role at Hyatt Place Butwal.

“My focus is to build a culture where guests feel welcomed, teams feel empowered, and the hotel consistently delivers on the values Hyatt stands for. I’m looking forward to strengthening our presence in Butwal and creating memorable experiences for our guests,” he says.

Located in the vibrant heart of Butwal, Hyatt Place Butwal emerges as Nepal’s ultimate getaway destination, offering a seamless blend of modern comfort and the region’s natural allure. Just minutes from Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha and the scenic Tilaurakot ruins, it serves as the ideal base for cultural explorers and adventure seekers alike. Travelers can escape to the hotel’s luxurious and comfortable rooms, rooftop pool with panoramic views, and farm-to-table dining, all while enjoying easy access to trekking trails and bustling local markets. Whether for a serene weekend retreat or a gateway to Nepal’s western wonders, the hotel redefines hospitality in this rising tourism hub.

Tushar holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from IHM Varanasi and a Bachelor of Commerce from Jagatpur PG College, Varanasi. He has also completed several leadership and brand certifications during his time in the industry. His background in both pre-opening and established hotels provides him with a balanced perspective essential for leading a modern, guest-centric operation.

Tushar now resides in Butwal as he takes on this leadership role.
