APPOINTMENT: NOVOTEL KOLKATA HOTEL & RESIDENCES APPOINTS AJAYA KUMAR NATH AS DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences is pleased to announce the appointment of Ajaya Kumar Nath as Director of Finance. With more than two decades of experience across hospitality and multinational organizations, Ajaya brings extensive knowledge of financial stewardship, business planning, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences, Ajaya held leadership roles with renowned organizations including Johnson & Johnson, Dalmia Resorts International, Club Mahindra, Radisson Hotels, Atalian Global Services, and Marriott International. Ajaya holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com) in Accounting and an MBA in Finance, along with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting from Utkal University. His academic background has equipped him with a strong understanding of financial management, business strategy, and operational oversight within the hospitality sector.

In his new capacity, Ajaya will oversee the property’s fiscal strategy and performance, with a focus on optimizing profitability, managing risk, and ensuring effective compliance practices aligned with the hotel’s business objectives.

Outside of work, Ajaya enjoys spending time with his family, reading books, and cycling.
