AVIATION : AIR INDIA EXPRESS TO CONNECT CITY OF JOY WITH LAND OF LORD RAMA FROM 17 JANUARY 2024, THRICE A WEEK

KOLKATA, 2 JANUARY 2023:

The Air India Express has announced the direct connectivity between Kolkata and Ayodhya from 17 January 2024.

Air India Express has released the official  flight schedule  of its upcoming flight  connectivity between New Delhi,  Kolkata and  Bengaluru  and Ayodhya  from 16 January and 17 January 2024 respectively.

Talking to The Travel and Tourism Times, Mr. Anil Punjabi, national executive committee member of Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI)  said that the upcoming Temple to be inaugurated this month at Ayodhya will be one of the architectural wonders of the world and  tourism will boom all throughout the year.

“ Explore Ayodhya, the sacred land where legends of Lord Rama echo through time. As the city opens it’s heart to the world, it unveils the hallowed grounds where devotion interwines with history, inviting pilgrims and explorers alike to walk the path trodden by the divine, discovering the essence of Lord Rama’s timeless saga,”he added.

Dr. Ankur Garg, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Air India Express said that Kolkata and Bengaluru will be all set to act as the Gateways  from Eastern India and Southern India respectively for the pilgrims to  Ayodhya and will further boost the religious tourism in the country .

While the flight services between new Delhi and Ayodhya will be daily from 16 January 2024, the flight services from Kolkata and Bengaluru will be thrice a week ( Monday, Wednesday and Thursday).

From New Delhi it will take off at 10 AM daily and from Ayodhya 11.50 AM daily. While From Kolkata it will take off at 13.25 PM and from Ayodhya will take off from 11.05 AM on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

However, the inaugural flight services took off from 30 December 2023 after the inauguration of Pm Narendra Modi.

While from Bengaluru  it will take off  8.05 AM and  from Ayodhya will take oat 15.40 PM on  Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

On 30 December 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with  union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Up Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has inaigurated the Shree Maharshi Valmiki International Airport – Ayodhya Dham.
