AVIATION: AKASA AIR ADDS SPECIAL FLIGHTS TO AHMEDABAD FOR CRICKET WORLD CUP FINAL

Akasa Air, India’s fastest-growing airline, has ramped up connectivity to Ahmedabad with special flights from Mumbai, in addition to its scheduled direct services from nine domestic and international destinations. The additional flights provide cricket fans with the most convenient flights options to and from Ahmedabad, ahead of the much-anticipated final cricket match scheduled in the city.

On 8 and 9 March 2026, Akasa Air will operate special direct flights between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, complementing its existing network between the two cities. The special flights have been scheduled to offer greater convenience with a midday departure from Mumbai on 8 March allowing fans to reach Ahmedabad comfortably ahead of the match, and early morning return services on 9 March to travel back soon after the match, providing flexibility for those who prefer not to extend their stay.

Travelers can enjoy Café Akasa, Akasa Air’s onboard meal service that offers fusion, hearty, and wholesome dishes in the skies, further elevating the special journey, and available to prebook and buy on board.
