The saga of the Fo First Airlines of India continues as the authority has cancellled all flights till 30 th May citing operational reasons and has assured full refunds to its passengers. Several times in the current month, the airlines has cancelled its flight operations, which was last cancelled till tomorrow but again it has been extended to 30 th May today.
In its official twitter account today : Important Notice : Flight cancellations due to operational reasons.
“ We regret to inform that due to operational reasons, Go First flights scheduled till 30 th May 2023 have been cancelled.We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the flight cancellations.
A full refund will be issued to the original mode of payment shortly.
We acknowledge the flight cancellations might have disrupted your travel plans and we are commited to providing all the assistance we can.
As you are aware , the company has filed an application for immediate resolution and revival of operations . We will be able to resume bookings shortly. We thank you for your patience,”.
Mr. Jatin Khanna, a passenger has alleged in twitter that on 9th May his flight was cancelled but he is yet to get the full refund despite providing all neceassry documents.
The aviation sector, watchdog has already given Go Fisrt 30 days time. It will also scrtinise every details before giving Go First go ahead with its flight resumptions.
Over 50 percent of the aircrafts of Go First were grounded before the cancellations of the flights and the current situation is extremely difficult for the Wadia Group airlines to bounce back from the present situation, expers feel.
