Madhya Pradesh has once again been honoured for its outstanding efforts in promoting the state’s rich cultural heritage and vibrant festivals. At the prestigious Today’s Traveller Summit & Awards 2024 held in Taj Palace New Delhi on 23rd August, Madhya Pradesh received the “Best State for Promotion of Festivals and Fairs” award.
Principal Secretary Culture and Tourism and Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board , Mr. Sheo Shekhar Shukla said the festivals and fairs of Madhya Pradesh are not merely events they are celebrations of our history, traditions, and the spirit of our people. We are committed to continuing our efforts to make Madhya Pradesh a leading cultural and spiritual destination in the world.
The Tourism Board received this honour for the promotion of cultural festivals like the Khajuraho Dance Festival, Tansen Samaroh, Ustad Allauddin Khan Sangeet Samaroh, Akhil Bhartiya Kalidas Samaroh, as well as destination promotional festivals in Gandhi Sagar, Kuno, Chanderi, and Hanuwantiya, along with year-round luxury tent cities. Today’s Traveller Summit & Awards are renowned for recognizing excellence in the travel and tourism industry.
