Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mr. Omar Abdullah will be the Chief Guest and will inaugurate the TTF Kolkata 2025 at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan tomorrow morning. The three days TTF Kolkata is the largest travel and trade fair in eastern India organized by the Fairfest Media.
Mr. Sanjiv Agrawal, Chairman and CEO of Fairfest Media will be present during the inaugural ceremony along with Mr. Neelu Sharman, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Mr. Vivek Acharya, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Ms. Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Royal Thai Consul General of Royal Thai Consulate General Kolkata, Khun Wirote, Deputy Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), New Delhi, Ms. Pinki Arora, Mr. Aso Lori, TAT ( New Delhi), Mr. Ahsan Ul Haq, Officer in Charge of Kashmir Tourism ( Kolkata), Mr. Madhusudan Singh, Assistant Director, Rajasthan Tourism ( Jaipur), Mr. Sanjay Mathur, GM ( transport), RTDC, Mr. Daulat Singh Kalia, GM ( Central Reservation), RTDC, Mr. Vishal Sharma, Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo, Officer in Charge of Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) Kolkata , Dr. Kaulesh Kumar, Secretary General of Association of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO), Mr. Raj Basu , reputed tourism expert etc.
The presence of J&K CM Omar Abdullah seems to be very significant as the entire nation and tourism stakeholders across the country united and stood behind the Jammu and Kashmir after the Pahalgam terror attacks on the tourists. Amongst some of the tourists killed by the terrorists on that day where from West Bengal.
All the national tourism organisations like IATO, Skal International, TAAI, TAFI, ABTO have supported Jammu and Kashmir Tourism department and organized trips and now normalcy has restored back.
Union Tourism minister, Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat himself has visited and stayed in Pahalgam recently.
In the evening tomorrow , CM Mr. Omar Abdullah will address the local media about J&K at Taj Bengal Hotel.
