To ensure a smooth and safe journey for pilgrims during the sacred month of Shravan, the Tourism Department has launched a special toll-free number: 18003097677. This number provides all essential information related to the Shravani Mela.

Through this helpline, you can not only get contact numbers but also full details about the facilities offered by the Tourism Department along the Sultanganj to Deoghar route and Pahleja Ghat to Baba Garibnath Temple in Muzaffarpur, within the Bihar border, during the Mela period.

A total of 12 temporary tourist information centers from Sultanganj to Dumma are providing all essential information. These centers are located at:

  • Sultanganj Railway Station
  • Sultanganj Bus Stand
  • Sultanganj Tent City
  • Dhandhi Belari
  • Kumarsar
  • Dhauri
  • Suiya
  • Abrakha
  • Katoria
  • Inarawaran
  • Dumma
  • Basukinath Path

Free Mela Guides (brochures) are also being distributed by the department at these centers.

Facilities Provided by the Tourism Department of Bihar in Permanent Structures:

  • Sultanganj – Changing rooms, solar lights, and benches at Sultanganj Ghat and Ajgaibinath.
  • Dhandhi Belari – Rain shelter, healthcare services, and male/female toilets.
  • Munger – Rain shelter with a seating hall and male/female toilets.
  • Jalebia, Banka – Food kiosks, ATMs/shops, reception room, tourist info center, hall with male/female toilets on the first floor.
  • Lulha Shivlok, Banka – Seating hall, healthcare facilities, male/female toilets.
  • Tankeshwar, Banka – Cafeteria, pantry/kitchen area, and toilets.
  • Suiya, Banka – Food kiosks, ATMs/shops, reception, tourist info center, hall with male/female toilets on the first floor.
  • Rain Shelter, Suiya, Banka – Seating hall, healthcare, male/female toilets (also on first floor).
  • Sitting Shelter, Suiya – Seating platform, tourist info center, and rain shelter.
  • Chihutjor, Banka – Rain shelter with seating hall and male/female toilets.
  • Chihutjor, Banka Cafeteria – Dining area, food kiosk, reception, male/female toilets, dormitory hall and common toilets on first floor.
  • Inarawaran Sitting Shelter – Seating platform.
  • Information Kiosks, Banka – Located in MojmaSuiya, LulhaShivlok, Jalebia, and Chihutjor; includes tourist information centers, first aid, and police control rooms.
  • Benches along the Kanwariya Circuit – Total 3,366 benches from Sultanganj to Dumma (Bihar border).
  • RCC Kanwar Stands – Total 1,037 stands along the Sultanganj–Dumma circuit.

Solar Street Lights – Total 180 lights installed from Sultanganj to Dumma at temporary tourist information centers.
