KOLKATA, 19 NOVEMBER 2024:

Rajasthan Government’s Education and Panchayati Raj Minister , Mr. Madan Dilawar was given a warm welcome by a delegation of Rajasthani businessmen and industrialists living in Kolkata on his arrival at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport in Kolkata today.

Education Minister Mr. Madan Dilawar has arrived on a three-day visit to Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, for investment and cooperation in the education department regarding the Rising Rajasthan Summit 2024.

Mr. Dilawar will meet the industrialists and businessmen of Rajasthan origin living here and will inform them about the proposals for cooperation in the education department of Rajasthan. This is the visit of the Rajasthan’s  Education Minister from 19 November to 21 November, in which he will hold several rounds of talks with the industrialists. A high-level delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Government of Rajasthan has also accompanied Mr. Dilawar.

It is our vision that no girl in Rajasthan should study sitting on the floor  said Education Minister Madan Dilawar, he further said that , now Akbar the Great will not be taught.

Education Minister Mr. Madan Dilawar said that it is the vision  of the state government that no girl child in Rajasthan should sit on the floor and we are making efforts to make it a reality. “We have a special emphasis on girl education,” he added.

“Rising Rajasthan, under the leadership of the  Chief Minister Mr. Bhajanlal Sharma, is an important step in this direction. By joining it, you can participate in the transformation of the education system of Rajasthan. Marwaris are flying their flag all over the country and abroad. And you also have a connection with your motherland. That is why we are first going to the place where Marwaris are more. We started from Mumbai where on our appeal, Rajasthani migrants have signed a MoU of Rs 116 crore with the Education Department in Jaipur on 6 November. Now we have come to Kolkata to seek your cooperation as well,”Education Minister Mr. Madan Dilawar was speaking at the program ‘Ek Kadam Shiksha Ki Aur’ organized by the Pravasi Rajasthani Parishad at The Conclave Hotel in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal.

The Education Minister said that there are 19 thousand primary schools, 16 thousand secondary schools and 26 thousand higher secondary schools in Rajasthan. We have set some priorities so that the children studying in these schools get the best facilities and quality education. The areas where donors can invest money have been determined. We invite your proposals for ICT labs and smart class rooms in schools. “You can become a partner of the government by investing in solar panels, sports, class rooms and school building construction in schools. The government is ready to cooperate and support you at every level. Last year, 138 philanthropists in the state invested more than 1 thousand crores in the education department. If you invest more than 2 crores in a school, the government plans to name the school after you. You can also contribute by adopting a school as per your convenience,”the minister explained.

Akbar will not be taught as great anymore: Education Minister Mr. Madan Dilawar said that we are stressing on values ​​in education. Our aim is to provide quality education with values. We are getting the reader books reviewed. Till now children were taught that Akbar was great but this will not happen now. Akbar was a wicked man. He cannot be great, Maharana Pratap is great and now only Maharana Pratap will be taught as great. Education Minister said that we will teach Maharana Pratap, Shivaji Maharaj, Swami Vivekananda but will not teach Akbar.

At the beginning of the program, the expatriate Rajasthanis greeted the Education Minister. They presented him a memento. On this occasion, a booklet prepared by the Council of Expatriate Rajasthan was also released
