The three-day Rajgir Festival, organized by the Department of Tourism, Bihar and the District Administration, Nalanda, is set to begin on Friday, 19 December 2025. All administrative preparations for the event have been completed.
The Rajgir Festival is scheduled to be held on 19th, 20th, and 21st December 2025 at the main event venue near RICC and the Hockey Ground, Rajgir, on the adjacent vacant land.
On the first day, renowned Bollywood singer Kailash Kher will perform. On the second day, Bollywood singer Salman Ali will take the stage, and on the third day, singer Bhavya Pandit will present her performance.
To ensure the successful organization of the festival, the Department of Tourism and the District Administration, Nalanda, have included a wide range of activities.
Comprehensive law and order and security arrangements will be in place throughout the festival. In addition, the event will feature proper lighting, publicity and promotion, cultural programs, exhibitions, stalls, an agricultural fair, a food festival, a women’s festival, a goodwill march, decoration of tongas and palkis, cleanliness drives, drinking water facilities, toilets, public amenities, sports festival, street plays, distribution of invitation cards, interfaith prayers, vehicle parking, traffic management, medical facilities, road repairs, electricity and lighting arrangements, decoration competitions for private homes, hotels, and other buildings, promotional activities, inauguration and closing ceremonies, and prize distribution, among other events.
