The ManyawarKanshiram Institute of Tourism Management (MKITM), operated by the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh, is currently accepting applications for its BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) in Tourism and Hospitality programme. This three-year undergraduate course is recognized by the University of Lucknow (LU) and is designed for students aspiring to build a career in the growing tourism and hospitality industry.
Admissions are currently open for interested students at MKITM. Those who missed filling out the entrance examination form for the University of Lucknow, or were unable to do so for any reason, can now take direct admission at the college. Due to limited seats, selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. The enrollment window will remain open until mid-August. MKITM aims to provide professional training in the rapidly growing sectors of tourism and hospitality, equipping young individuals with the skills required for gainful employment. The BBA in Tourism and Hospitality offered by MKITM is a three-year undergraduate programme that provides comprehensive exposure to key areas of the tourism industry. The curriculum includes hotel management, organizational behaviour, accounting and finance, tourism and hospitality operations, industry orientation, travel agency management, food production, housekeeping, and personality development. The primary goal is to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
To be eligible for admission to the BBA in Tourism and Hospitality programme, candidates from the General/OBC categories must have secured at least 50% marks in their intermediate (12th grade) examination. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) must have a minimum of 45% marks. For the academic session 2025–26, the tuition fee has been set at Rs. 29,000 per semester. A nominal registration fee of Rs. 500 is also applicable.
MKITM offers air-conditioned hostel accommodation for students within the campus, inclusive of essential amenities such as security, dining facilities, and other necessities, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for all residents.
