Popular Bengali film actor Arjun Chakraborty has inaugurated the three days travel and tourism exhibition – Tourism Fair 2025 at Khudiram Anushilam Kendra in Kolkata today. He has wished the organizers all success and has spoken about his love to travel and visit new destinations.
This year West Bengal is the Host State and Chattisgarh is the Platinum sponsor of the event, su[pported by the union ministry of tourism. The three day Tourism Fair -2025 started today from 11 AM to 7 PM, however the fair will remain closed on Sunday and instead of Sunday it will reopen on Monday.
Due a meeting of union home minister Amit Shah in the neighbourhood on Sunday, due to his massive security protocol the Tourism Fair will remain closed on Sunday, the organizers said.
Dr. Kaulesh Kumar, Secretary General of Association of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO), Mr. Kaushik of TAAB and NJOY Travels, Mr. Sandeep Sahu of Chattisgarh Tourism Board, Mr. Abhirup Ghosh of TAAB, Mr. Bidyut Mitra, Head, West Bengal Chapter of ABTO, Mr. Shamir Shome, member ABTO (WB) etc were present during the inauguration ceremony today.
There has been tremendous enthusiasm amongst the travel agents and the travelers present in the fair today as the travel agents have brought up new and exciting offers before the customers ahead of the Durga Puja vacation.
Country’s premiere travel agencies like Make my trip, Thomas Cook, SOTC, TAAB, Balmer Lawrie, travel agents, DMCs of Andaman and Nicobar islands, North eastern states, Goa, Sundarban etc have provided stalls in this three days tourism carnival at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra. Besides hotels, resorts, homestays, camp owners etc have also provided stalls in the fair.
