EVENT : GRAND EVENT OF ‘RANGOTSAV 2025’ BY GANGASAGAR CITIZENS COUNCIL, KOLKATA

KOLKATA, 11 MARCH 2025:

Gangasagar Citizens Council, Kolkata organized a grand event of ‘Kolkata Pravasi Holi Preeti Sammelan – Rangotsav 2025’ at I Lead College Campus, Topsia. In this colorful festival, the captivating presentations of Dhap and Rajasthani folk dance enthralled the audience.

Along with the senior members of the council family, youth and child participants also participated in the program with full enthusiasm. Everyone enjoyed the Holi festival to the fullest while enjoying Rajasthani Thandai and Dal-Baati-Churma.

On this occasion, Assistant Director of Rajasthan Information Department, Kolkata and son of Bikaner, Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo, Council President Mr. Pradeep Chopra, Mr. Rajendra Sethia and many other dignitaries graced the program. All the guests appreciated the event and called for organizing this Holi festival on a large scale in Gangasagar next year.

Council Vice President Mr. Sushil Chopra introduced Mr. Hingalaj Dan Ratnoo and shared information about the service activities run by Gangasahar Council in Gangasahar. Council Minister Mr. Manish Sethia greeted all the guests and felicitated the former presidents. On this occasion, former president Mr. Madan Maroti was also specially felicitated.

In his impressive speech in Marwari language, Mr. Hingalaj Dan  Ratnoo praised the valour of Rajasthan, the contribution of philanthropists in education and service, and the efforts of Rajasthani origin organizations settled in the metropolis to preserve their traditions and history. He praised the role of organizations in promoting harmony, mutual cooperation and social awareness in the society.

Specially invited Kathak artist Adrija presented Holi with Radha Krishna on the occasion of Holi, Sonu Bawra performed Dhap program.

In this successful event, Mrs. Jyoti Sethia and Ms. Keva Sethia played the role of stage director, coordinator Madhukar Chopra, Rajesh Chopra, Kishore Bhattar, Sanjeev Anchaliya, Ashok Bhansali, Rishabh Daga and Rajesh Baid also made special contributions.

All the guests present appreciated the grand stage and event of I Lead College and called it a memorable experience.
