The MoU signing and pre-summit program for the first Kota–Hadoti Travel Mart, organized by the Hotel Federation of Rajasthan (HFR), Kota Division, was held on Monday at RTDC Hotel Gangaur. The event saw remarkable participation from prominent representatives of the tourism, hospitality, and travel sectors, along with association office-bearers and industry stakeholders, sending a strong message about the future of tourism in Hadoti.
The MoU was signed by Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riar and HFR President Hussain Khan.

The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp. Following this, HFR Kota Division gave a detailed presentation on the structure of Hadoti Travel Mart 2026, its key features, potential exhibition areas, and the tourism resources of the region.
Scheduled for 2–4 January 2026, this travel mart will highlight the rich history, natural beauty, architecture, water heritage, art–culture, and adventure tourism of the districts of Kota, Bundi, Jhalawar, and Baran.
During her address, Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riar said that the Rajasthan Government is taking a new initiative by organizing the first-ever Kota–Hadoti Travel Mart 2026 from 2 to 4 January in Kota.
Hadoti region holds immense untapped tourism potential, which can be showcased globally with systematic efforts. Hadoti has a unique identity that will gain national and international recognition through this travel mart.
She further added that the Kota division is extremely beautiful, and efforts are being made to introduce its beauty to the nation and the world. Such events will also provide a platform for unexplored destinations that have not yet found a place on the mainstream tourism map.
Riar also mentioned that under the tourism department’s strategy, similar travel marts will be organized in Udaipur and Jodhpur in the future, strengthening Rajasthan’s identity as a year-round tourist destination.
Presence of Top Representatives from Tourism & Hospitality Sector:
The program was attended by HFR President Hussain Khan, HFR Kota Division President Ashok Maheshwari, Surendra Singh Shahpura, Virendra Singh (FHTR), Mahendra Singh (RATO), Hem Singh (ADTOI), and Gaj Singh Alisar (IHHA), along with top representatives from various industry organizations and federations.
All speakers emphasized that the Hadoti region offers vast opportunities for river–waterfall and water tourism, Buddhist–Jain–Shaiv heritage, a rich chain of forts and palaces, adventure tourism, rural tourism, and eco-tourism.
Through these resources, Hadoti can be established as a prominent destination on the national tourism map.
Additional Director of the Tourism Department Anand Tripathi, Joint Director Dalip Singh Rathore, Deputy Director Upendra Singh Shekhawat, and other departmental officials and staff were also present at the event.
At the conclusion of the pre-summit, all stakeholders unanimously stated that collective efforts will continue to develop Hadoti as an emerging major tourism destination of Rajasthan. Participants described the MoU as a strong and decisive step toward tourism development in Hadoti.
