On 14 November 2025, Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Taratala Kolkata organised the 122nd Board of Governors Meeting which saw the arrival of the eminent Board Members of IHM Taratala Kolkata.
The members included 1. Smt. Nandini Chakravorty, IAS, Chairperson – BOG, IHM Kolkata & Additional Chief Secretary, Home & Hill Affairs Department with Additional Chief Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department and Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism Department Government of West Bengal.
Shri Pranav Prakash, Member – BOG, IHM Kolkata & Deputy Director General & Regional Director (East) Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, India Tourism Kolkata Dr. Sagnik Chowdhury, Member – BOG, IHM Kolkata & Director (Admin & Finance) National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
4. Shri Gaurav Soneja, Industry Expert – BOG, IHM Kolkata & General Manager ITC Hotels, Kolkata.
5. Shri Raja Sadhukhan, Secretary – BOG, IHM Kolkata & Principal, IHM Kolkata
While the other members attended the meeting online.
The members were welcomed with a traditional Indian welcome, post which the meeting was held. The meeting resulted in key decisions being taken about the future of IHM Taratala Kolkata. Post the meeting, the guests were treated to a curated lunch consisting of hand crafted sushi platters, Pan Asian cuisine and last but not the least, the highly coveted Patented Charcoal Sandesh of IHM Taratala Kolkata.
All the board members thoroughly appreciated the unique patented Charcoal Sandesh and the hospitality extended while Honourable Principal Mr. Raja Sadhukhan thanked all for their efforts.
