KOLKATA, 5 JUNE 2023:
Ms. Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary of Tourism, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp in the gracious presence of Maharaja Gaj Singh of Jodhpur. Also present at the event were President of FHTR ,Apruv Kumar, Secretary General of FHTR Mohan Singh, President of RATO Mahendra Singh Rathore, FICCI Rajasthan State Council member Randhir Vikram Singh and President of JHRA JM Boob.
The 3rd edition of Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM), scheduled to be held from 14-16 July in Jaipur, the 3rd promotional roadshow is being organized in Jodhpur on 1 June.
RDTM 2023 is being jointly organized by Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan and the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR).
Principal Secretary, Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, Ms. Gayatri Rathore; President Emeritus, Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA), Maharaja Gaj Singh of Jodhpur; President of FHTR, Mr. Apurv Kumar; Secretary General, FHTR, Mr. Mohan Singh Mertia; President, Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO), Mr. Mahendra Singh Rathore and President, Jodhana Hotels & Restaurants Association (JHARA), Mr. J.M. Boob etc have attended the roadshow.
The President of FHTR, Mr. Apurv Kumar said that the theme of RDTM 2023 is ‘Sustainable Tourism’. In addition to the Department of Tourism and FHTR, the event will also witness the presence of stakeholders of various tourism and hospitality organizations of the state such as Hotels and Restaurants Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA), and Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO).
During the roadshow, there has been presentations and short film screenings highlighting the diverse facets of tourism of Rajasthan of the state. The initiatives taken by Rajasthan Tourism to bosst tourism in the state like the Industry Status given to Tourism, Rajasthan Film Tourism Promotion Policy 2022, Guest House scheme, Revised Homestay (PG) scheme, Rajasthan Rural Tourism Investment Scheme, Revised Heritage Guidelines etc have also been highlighted.
In the month of May the first two roadshows of RDTM 2023 have been held at Jaipur and Udaipur . Next roadshows will be held in Bharatpur and Mandawa.

Forts, Palaces, Wildlife, Museum, Fairs and Festivals, cuisine, culture there has been a lot to explore in the land of the maharajas.
