A four days Tourism Seminar and Heritage Walk with FAM TRIP , which was recently organized by the Bihar Tourism along with the district administration of Lakhisarai and supported by ABTO has concluded ended with grand success.
The credit for the success of the mega tourism event went to Mr. Mithilesh Mishra , IAS, District Magistrate (D.M.) of Lakhisarai, Bihar and his dedicated team. He has also thanked the Association of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO) for their kind support.
Dr. Kaulesh Kumar, Secretary General of Association of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO) also gave special thanks to Mr. Ashok Singh, Scholar and Mr. Abhishek Singh, MD, Sangam Hotel, Lakhisarai, Bihar, India for kind support in providing hospitality and playing a key role in the entire event to all International and National delegates and participants.
The heritage walk was organized in Birasat, Bihar in Lakhisarai from 2 to 4 May 2025 focussing on the rich heritage of Vajrayana – Buddhism in the region.
The three day event has brought together tourism experts, historians, and cultural enthusiasts to explore and promote Lakhisarai’s invaluable spiritual and historical legacy.
This was the first ever seminar on Buddhist – Vajrayana sites in Lakisarai in Central Bihar. Mr. Mithilesh Mishra, DM of lakhisarai has thanked the participants for making the event a grand success.
Several hundreds of people from various sectors have participated in the Heritage Walk and Fam Trip.
