The Varanasi Tourism Guild along with Association of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO) has organized a FAM trip for tourism stakeholders including scholars, officers, media international monks and nuns from Varanasi – the Land of Salvation to Bodhgaya – The land of Enlightment from 10 th to 14 th August 2025.
Dr. Kaulesh Kumar, Secretary General of Association of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO) has urged the tourism stakeholders to participate in the upcoming FAM Tour and make this event a grand success in promoting inbound Buddhist Tourism in the country.
A FAM Trip of Varanasi-Sarnath-Gaya-Bodhgaya(Rajgir & Nalanda Optional) is being organized for Tourism stakeholders/ Scholars/Officers/Media Person/Monk-Nuns in collaboration with Varanasi Tourism Guild- VTG, and Association of Buddhist Tour Operators-ABTO, to know the oldest Cultural & Spiritual in Varanasi-Bodhgaya and around from 10th to 14th August 2025 as per following programme:-
Day 1: (10 August 2025)
Welcome all delegates in the Hotel at Kashi- The Land of Lord Shiva at 1600 hrs.
Check-in to a hotel in Varanasi.
Visit to see the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Dinner and night stay at the hotel.
Day 2: (11 August 2025)
Early morning boat ride at river Ganges in Varanasi.
After breakfast, visit Sarnath to see Chaukhandi, Dammekh Stupa and Museum. Lunch at Sarnath.
B2B Session with Gala Dinner & Overnight stay at a hotel in Varanasi.
Day 03: (12 August 2025)
Early Morning visit to see Ganga Aarti.
After breakfast, drive to Bodhgaya . On arrival & Check-in Hotel for Lunch. Afternoon visit to see Mahabodhi Temple and around different Countries Monastries.
B2B Session with Gala Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day 04: (13 August 2025)
Early Morning visit to Mahabodhi Temple for Meditation.
After breakfast, drive to Nalanda-Oldest University in the World, enroute visit to Rajgir-Ancient Capital of Magadh Empire . On arrival Rajgir & Check-in Hotel for Lunch. Evening back to Bodhgaya.
Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day 05: (14 August 2025)
After breakfast, transfer to the Gaya Airport or Gaya Railway station for the next destination.
Visit End with Sweet Memories.
