Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/ Visit Maldives), in collaboration with the National Hotel and Guesthouse Association of Maldives (NHGAM) are thrilled to announce that we have reopened participation in the highly anticipated 11th Asian Tourism Fair (ATF) 2024. The fair is held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from September 19th to 21st, 2024, at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).
A premier platform for Pan-Asian tourism collaboration, ATF convenes a diverse range of stakeholders – from adventure tourism companies and airlines to amusement parks, hotels, and national tourism organisations- under one roof. Participation for this fair was reopened in an effort to accommodate a wider audience interested in showcasing their offerings at this prestigious event.
This year’s ATF coincides with World Tourism Day, adding even more excitement and prestige to the event. Beyond the core tourism trade exhibition, B2B sessions, and B2C opportunities, ATF 2024 boasts a range of exciting side events. Attendees can expect insightful seminars, workshops, and skill development conventions alongside a vibrant cultural program and photo exhibition. For those interested in responsible tourism, a dedicated CBT Mart (Community-Based Tourism Mart) will showcase sustainable travel options. This diverse program ensures ATF 2024 offers something for everyone. MMPRC plans to actively participate in these various sideline activities to showcase the multifaceted Maldivian tourism industry.
Visit Maldives’ participation in ATF for the first time reflects our dedication to strengthening our presence in Asian markets and nurturing closer ties with the tourism industry stakeholders, aiming to present a comprehensive picture of the Maldivian tourism experience to the Asian travel trade and beyond. Previous editions of ATF have brought together representatives from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Bhutan, and many more countries, highlighting the event’s regional significance.
