HISTORY :

Papad is a very popular snack in the Indian subcontinent. In India the state of Rajasthan is very famous for its pure vegetarian papads, so is the state of Gujarat. Traditionally these are thin wafers, diameters and thickness varies as well as the production procedure.

Incorporation of chicken meat into papad dough resulted in improving nutritive value and higher sensory scores.

A papad is an Indian dough of black gram bean flour, either deep fried or cooked with dry heat until crunchy.  Other flours made from lentils, chickpeas, rice, tapioca, millet and potato are also used.

It is typically served as an accompaniment to a meal in India, pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka or as an appetizer , often with
a dip such as chutneys or toppings, such as chopped onions and chilli peppers , they may be used as an ingredient in curries too.
The popularity of ready to cook chinese food products are growing hugely in the country and are becoming popular
