A three-day Rashtriya Karmayogi Master Trainer Training Workshop was successfully conducted from 10th to 12th June 2025 at IHM Taratala Kolkata. The workshop was led by the Lead Trainers, Mr. Raja Sadhukhan, Principal, Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) in Taratala Kolkata, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Mr. Pranav Prakash, Deputy Director General and Regional Director (East), India Tourism, Kolkata, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

The training brought together faculty members from IHM Taratala Kolkata and team members from India Tourism offices across Eastern India.
The initiative aimed to empower participants with advanced training methodologies and leadership skills under the Rashtriya Karmayogi framework, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the public service and hospitality sectors. The participants underwent a 3 day Train the Trainer workshop to be certified as Master Trainers and now responsible to further conduct and train Government of India employees on the Rashtriya Karmayogi modules.

Led by Mr. Raja Sadhukhan (Principal, IHM Taratala) and Mr. Pranav Prakash (DDG & RD East, India Tourism), the workshop featured expert guidance from Ministry of Tourism officials.
The training brought together IHM Taratala faculty and India Tourism teams from Eastern India, creating a dynamic platform for skill-sharing and learning.

Focused on the Rashtriya Karmayogi framework, the workshop aimed to build leadership and training capabilities to transform governance with mission-mode learning.

The sessions promoted a culture of excellence and lifelong learning in public service, emphasizing innovation, efficiency, and impactful communication
Designed as a Train the Trainer program, the workshop empowered participants to become facilitators, capable of delivering high-impact training.

Participants were certified as Master Trainers under the Rashtriya Karmayogi scheme, equipped to lead future training across departments.
Certified trainers will now conduct Rashtriya Karmayogi sessions for Government of India employees, spreading a culture of reform and excellence.
