Pride Chasers proved invincible at Karuvatta as well by finishing first in the fifth season of the Champions Boat League (CBL-5) today, shocking reigning champions Tropical Titans yet again in the IPL-style competition for snakeboats organized by Kerala Tourism. Rowing Veeyapuram chundan owned by Village Boat Club of Kainakary, Pride Chasers clocked 4:00.107 to out-row Tropical Titans (4:00.717) in a photofinish, much to the excitement of the cheering crowd. Ripple Breakers (4:06.831) emerged third.

The three teams exhibited immense competitive spirit by surging ahead in the initial stretch, with Ripple Breakers (rowing Nadubhagam Chundan of Punnamada Boat Club) taking a slight lead until the first mark. Soon, Tropical Titans (Melpadam Chundan, rowed by Pallathuruthy Boat Club) gained an edge over their two rivals.
