In compliance with the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister and also minister of Tourism of Rajasthan, Ms. Diya Kumari and to ensure the safety and assistance of women tourists, 19 numbers of women security personnel have been deployed at various tourist destinations across the state of Rajasthan.
Principal Secretary (Tourism) Rajesh Yadav informed that women security personnel have been appointed in the Tourist Assistance Force (TAF) at several prominent tourist sites in the state. These include Saheliyon Ki Bari and Sajjangarh (Udaipur) – 2, Jaisalmer Fort – 2, Amer Fort – 2, Jal Mahal – 2, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar – 2, Albert Hall – 2, Railway Station – 2, and Birla Mandir – 1.
In total, 15 women personnel have been deployed in Jaipur and 19 across the state.
