The Jharkhand Tourism Department, in collaboration with Sky High India, has launched an important initiative to promote adventure tourism in the state by organizing a Skydiving Festival.
The festival is being held at Sonari Airport in Jamshedpur from March 21 to March 29, and in Dumka from April 1 to April 6. This event was also successfully organized last year.
As part of this festival, participants are getting a unique opportunity to experience skydiving from an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet, accompanied by professional instructors. This initiative is not only giving a new identity to adventure tourism in the state but is also becoming a major attraction among youth and tourists.
This effort by Jharkhand Tourism aligns with the vision of establishing the state as a leading adventure destination under the concept of “One State, Many Adventures.”
The state government is continuously working to strengthen the tourism sector through such events and to enhance Jharkhand’s recognition at both national and international levels.
