RAILWAY : EASTERN RAILWAY ENHANCES SERVICES FOR SHRAVANI MELA DEVOTEES

*Special trains and provide additional stoppage of few mail/express trains at Sultanganj during Shravani Mela

Shravani Mela at Baidyanath Dham Temple of Deoghar is one of the principal attractions for the Lord Shiva devotees across the country. Countless pilgrims rushed to Deoghar and Sultanganj area on this auspicious occasion and they preferred the Railway route to reach there as the safest & quickest mode of transport. Accordingly, for the convenience of the passengers, Railway has decided to provide passenger special trains & additional stoppage of Mail/Express trains at Sultanganj station on nominated days during Shravani Mela Period.

The month long Shravani Mela begins from 11 July 2025 this year.

Special train:

03442/03441 Jamalpur – Deoghar – Jamalpur Shravani Mela passenger special will run on every Sunday between 13.07.2025 & 10.08.2025 (05 trips each). 03442 Jamalpur – Deoghar Shravani Mela passenger special will leave Jamalpur at 05:10 hrs. to reach Deoghar at 10:10 hrs. On the same day and 03441 Deoghar – Jamalpur Shravani Mela passenger special will leave Deoghar at 15:45 hrs. to reach Jamalpur at 22:05 hrs. on the same day.

03444/03443 Deoghar – Godda – Deoghar Shravani Mela passenger special will run on every Sunday between 13.07.2025 & 10.08.2025 (05 trips each). 03444 Deoghar – Godda Shravani Mela passenger special will leave Deoghar at 10:45 hrs. to reach Godda at 12:40 hrs. On the same day and 03443 Godda – Deoghar Shravani Mela passenger special will leave Godda at 13:15 hrs. to reach Deoghar at 15:05 hrs. on the same day.

*Additional stoppage of Trains*

*Following trains will provide two (02) minutes stoppage at Sultanganj station on nominated days during Mela period:*

• 12253 Yesvantpur – Bhagalpur weekly Anga Express will arrive Sultanganj at 08:04 hrs.
• 12254 Bhagalpur – Yesvantpur weekly Anga Express will arrive Sultanganj at 14:08 hrs.
