RAILWAY: NOW BOOK, TRACK AND TRAVEL SMARTER WITH THE NEW ‘RAILONE’ APP

As part of Indian Railways’ continued efforts towards digital empowerment and enhanced passenger convenience, Asansol Division of Eastern Railway has undertaken an extensive awareness campaign to promote the usage of the recently launched ‘RailOne’ App — India’s Official Railway SuperApp. This initiative aims to familiarize passengers with the app’s wide range of services and encourage them to experience a smarter, faster, and more connected way of travelling.

The RailOne App, already available for download on Android Play Store and iOS App Store, brings together multiple railway services under one digital roof. With the motto “Book any ticket. Track any train. Order food. File complaints. Get refunds. All in a tap.”, the app redefines passenger convenience by integrating previously separate railway platforms into a single, unified system.

Through awareness drives, digital displays, and passenger interaction programmes at stations, Asansol Division is highlighting the app’s key features — including Unreserved UTS Ticket Booking via R-Wallet with a 3% discount, Live Train Tracking, Online Grievance Redressal, Refund Management, and E-Catering. Facilities for Porter Booking and Last-Mile Taxi Services are also being showcased to promote ease of travel for passengers.

The Division is also informing passengers that existing UTS and RailConnect credentials can be used to access RailOne seamlessly. The app supports Single Sign-On login through mPIN or biometric authentication, and integrates R-Wallet for quick, cashless transactions. For reserved ticketing, IRCTC continues as the authorized platform, while RailOne functions as an officially approved partner.

With this awareness campaign, Asansol Division is reinforcing Indian Railways’ mission to enhance digital accessibility and passenger engagement. The initiative reflects the Division’s commitment to promoting technology-driven solutions that simplify travel and strengthen the vision of a Digital Railway Ecosystem.
