In order to cater to the increased passenger demand during the auspicious Shravani Mela 2025, Railway has decided to run a special unreserved train service between Asansol and Danapur. 03553/03554 Asansol–Danapur–Asansol Shravani Mela Special Train will provide convenient travel options to the Kanwariyas and other pilgrims travelling during this festive period.
Lakhs of devotees undertake the pious barefoot Kanwar Yatra from Sultanganj to Deoghar during this time, carrying holy Ganga Jal to offer at the sacred Jyotirlinga of Lord Baidyanath at Baidyanath Dham. To support this religious movement, Railway will provide the following special services.
Train No. 03553/03554 Asansol–Danapur-Asansol Shravani Mela unreserved Special will run on the following Day’s:-
03553 (Asansol- Danapur) Shravani Mela unreserved Special Will run on every Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday in betwwen 14.07.2025 & 07.08.2025 for (16) trips.The train will depart from Asansol at 19:30 hrs. and reach Danapur at 02:15 hrs. on the next day. 03554 (Danapur –Asansol) Shravani Mela Special will run on every,Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday & Friday in between 15.07.2025 & 08.08.2025 for (16) trips.The train will depart from Danapur at 03:15 hrs. and reach Asansol at 10:10 hrs. on the same day.The train will Stop at Chittaranjan,Madhupur & Jasidih enroute in both directions of Asansol Division Jurisdiction.
RAILWAY TO RUN SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN DURG AND PATNA:
In order to cater to the increased passenger demand during the auspicious Shravani Mela 2025, Railway has decided to run a special train service between Durg and Patna. 08795/08796 Durg–Patna– Durg Weekly Special Train will provide convenient travel options to the Kanwariyas and other pilgrims travelling during this festive period.Railway will Provide the following special services.
Train No. 08795/08796 DURG–PATNA-DURG Special Train will run on the following Day’s:
08795 (Durg–Patna) Special Will run Ex Durg on 06.07.2025 ,13.07.2025, 20.07.2025 & 27.07.2025 for (04) trips.The train will depart from Durg at 13:15 hrs. and reach Patna at 15:30 hrs. on the next day. 08796 (Patna–Durg) Special will run Ex Patna on 07.07.2025, 14.07.2025, 21.07.2025 & 28.07.2025 for (04) trips.The train will depart from Patna at 17:15 hrs. and reach Durg at 22:35 hrs. on the next day.The train will Stop at Chittaranjan,Madhupur & Jasidih enroute in both directions of Asansol Division Jurisdiction.
CONTINUATION OF RUNNING OF SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS:
To clear the extra rush of passengers, Railway has decided to continue the service of 07051 Charlapalli – Raxaul Special, 07052 Raxaul – Charlapalli Special, 07005 Charlapalli – Raxaul Special & 07006 Raxaul – Charlapalli Special as per its existing path, timings & stoppages.
1. 07051 Charlapalli – Raxaul Special will run on every Saturday between 05.07.2025 & 27.09.2025 for (13) trips and 07052 Raxaul – Charlapalli Special will run on every Tuesday between 08.07.2024 & 30.09.2025 for (13) trips.
2. 07005 Charlapalli – Raxaul Special will run on every Monday between 07.07.2025 & 29.09.2025 and 07006 Raxaul – Charlapalli Special will run on every Thursday between 10.07.2025 & 02.10.2025 for (13) trips.
The special train will have general second class, sleeper class and air-conditioned accommodation.
