Shravani Mela at Baidyanath Dham Temple of Deoghar is one of the principal attractions for the Lord Shiva devotees across the country. Countless pilgrims rushed to the Sultanganj area on this auspicious occasion and they preferred the Railway route to reach there as the safest & quickest mode of transport. Accordingly, for the convenience of the passengers, the Railway has decided to run the Asansol – Danapur – Asansol Shravani Mela Special. By proactively addressing passenger needs and introducing the special train, Railway reaffirms its dedication to providing quality transportation services and ensuring a positive travel experience for all passengers. The decision to introduce the special train aims to alleviate the extra rush of passengers and ensure smooth and convenient travel.
03553 Asansol – Danapur Shravani Mela Special will leave Asansol at 19:45 hrs. on every Monday between 29.07.2024 & 19.08.2024 (04 trips) to reach Danapur at 02:15 hrs. On the Next day and 03554 Danapur – Asansol Shravani Mela Special will leave Danapur at 03:15 hrs. on every Tuesday between 30.07.2024 & 20.08.2024 (04 trips) to reach Asansol at 09:45 hrs. on the same day.
The train will stop at Chittaranjan , Madhupur & Jasidih stations in both directions enroute.
The train will have General second class and sleeper class accommodation.
