The MP of Godda Constituency in Jharkhand, Nishikanta Dubey has announced few days ago in his twitter handle that very soon the Howrah- Patna Vande Bharat Express connecting the temple town of Deoghar will start.
The first trial run of Howrah- Patna Vande Bharat Express have been conducted sucessfully today via Asansol and reached the destination in six and half hours.
Once this Howrah- Patna Vande Bharat Express starts it will reduce the travelling times by railways by over two hours, said top railway officials who travelled in the trial run today.
The distance between Patna and Howrah station is 535 kilometres and carry 538 passengers.
At around 2.30 PM the Vande Bharat Express reached Howrah Station today.
This will be the second Vande Bharat Express train of Bihar after the Patna – Ranchi route.
The Vande Bharat Express train started from Patna at around 8 AM today and crossed the Patna City Station, Lakhsmisarai, Jasidih, Asansol stations on the way to Howarh. At around 11 AM the train reached Jasidih station. Reached Asansol Station around 12.30 PM.
There is only two minutes stoppage time at Asansol.
On 30 th July the train has arrived from Integrated Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai. It has total eight coaches including five Air Conditioned  chair cars, one AC executive class.
The train has returned back to Patna today. The speed of the train will be between 90 km to 110 kilometres per hour.
The fares of the AC executive class will be Rs.2650 and AC chair car will be Rs.1450, railway sources said.
Railway officials said that very soon the Howrah- Patna Vande Bharat Express will be flagged off by the PM Narendra Modi. This will be the fastest train connectivity between Howrah and Patna.
