Splayed and spread across acres of verdant green and quaint water bodies that fuse seamlessly with award-winning architecture, it is a hotel cum resort that touches a certain cord for those with an eye for nature and finesse. It creates a certain sense of déjà vu.

To say that The Roseate New Delhi offers a tranquil escape from the city’s ever-growing hustle and bustle, is true enough, but tells only half the story. It’s a bit hard to fathom when one considers that this epitome of luxury and hospitality is within breathing distance-a mere few minutes drive-from the busy international airport, huge shopping malls, embassies and offices in Delhi and Gurugram.

Inspired by the five elements of Hindu philosophy – air, water, fire, earth and sky, internationally-acclaimed architect Khun Lek Bunnag outdid himself by conceiving a hotel brimming with charm. Bestowed with some 1, 500 trees and 3 acres of water bodies, the tranquil estate has established itself as a notable and noteworthy hospitality landmark.

Regally columned verandas, intricate bronze meshwork, 20 feet-high doors, high dome ceilings and Isfahan pillars fused with five century old Moghul architecture, and a water element symbolised with waterways that journey along the entire length of the resort, instil a grand element to things. The result is a stimulating, therapeutic detox that creates an ambience that gently nudges guests into a realm of calm and beauty

Insulating the city’s sound and adding a design touch, are some 650,000 brass ficus leaves have taken up the wall.

The lodging segment comprises 65 elegantly furnished rooms and suites, of which 11 sport private decks by the lakeside. Calming tones and colour, upscale furnishings, bespoke bathrooms, and modern technology create the perfect blend of style and comfort.

Inspired by the liberated art of cooking at Kai Mayfair, CHI NI is a 140 cover restaurant, the only one under a tent canopy in the country, offering private dining rooms, indoor dining, a winery, bar seating and an alfresco experience perched atop a manicured hill overlooking the iconic stained glass boat by Khun Lek Bunnag. There’s Chinese modern cuisine, Szechuan cuisine, Hong Kong Cantonese cuisine, Malaysian local food and Singapore Chinese. The common denominator is top-quality, as any gourmet will tell you.

A stylish, luxurious high-energy bar! That’s IAH. Cocktails, single malts, wines & spirits paired with cuisine inspired by the SLOW philosophy – seasonal, local, organic, wholesome! What you get to savour is the art of mixology at its devilish best.

A plush decor with a ceiling that dominates, gray upholstery, wafting music, and a huge ‘live counter’ combine to exude a somewhat ‘superior’ air. But then KIYAN isn’t the resort’s world cuisine restaurant for nothing. With its cuisine and fine dining experience providing a Europan edge. With some 84 covers, 60 inside and 24 outside, the restaurant, setamidst Isfahan columns surrounded by water bodies, presents a regal air. Also on offer are Indian and Thai cuisine prepared using fresh, seasonal, organic produce, and a celebrated array of hors d’oeuvres.

Detox, cleanse, nourish, heal and rejuvenate! Strong on design and offering a bespoke menu of treatments, AHELI Spa is the place to rejuvenate. The Sanskrit derivation of ‘Aheli’ is pure, while in Hebrew, it symbolises a feeling of purity, grace and elegance. Offered are treatments that are a blend of Ayurveda, Yoga, Indonesian, Thai and European wellness philosophies. The spa comprises 3 single suites, 1 couple suite, a traditional hammam, open verandah, open therapy rooms, open Thai massage areas, a glass box gym, yoga pavilion and a steam room and sauna.

The service is personalised. They ask what you want and fancy, and then get to work on you. It’s as simple as that.

They haven’t forgotten the MICE factor. Suitably appointed rooms, banquet spaces and picturesque outdoor spaces. The Ballroom can host 65 guests in a round table setting and 120 guests in a theatre style seating arrangement. In addition to a meeting room for a gathering of 30-40 guests, there is a small meeting room and 2 boardrooms. The lawns can accommodate up to 350 guests. The unique architecture and green landscape enhance the venue’s value for weddings and private events. CLUB PRIVE is for small gatherings.
