For the first time , Vistara, India’s finest full service carrier has been amongst the world’s top twenty airlines and has received a number of awards from the global air transport rating agency Skytrax in the World Airline Awards 2022.
Vistara has been awarded the Best Airline in India and South Asia for the second time, the Best Airline Staff Service for India and South Asia for the fourth time, the Best Cabin Crew in India and South Asia for the second time and the Best Business Class in India and South Asia Award at Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022.

TATA SIA Airlines Limited, known by the brand name Vistara, is a joint venture between Tata Sons Limited and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) with Tata Sons holding the majority stake of 51% in the company and SIA holding the remaining 49%. Vistara brings together Tata’s and SIA’s legendary hospitality and renowned service excellence to launch the finest full service carrier in India aimed at creating memorable and personalized flying experiences for its customers. Vistara commenced its commercial operations on January 9, 2015 with its inaugural flight between Mumbai and Delhi, with an aim to set new standards in the aviation industry in India.
As of November 2021, Vistara serves 43 destinations across 12 countries. Its main hub is at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. On 6 August 2019, the airline launched its first international flight from Delhi to Singapore .
Qatar Airways has bagged the top spot, followed by Singapore Airlines and Emirates Airlines.
The coveted Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022 have been handed over at a function in London, UK recently by Skytrax. The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI) etc have congratulated Vistara for its great achievement and making India’s aviation sector proud.
