LEAD NEWS : TWO DAYS JHARKHAND TOURISM DEPARTMENT’S KOLKATA ROADSHOW SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED TODAY IN PRESENCE OF MINISTER SUDIVYA KUMAR

The Jharkhand Tourism Department organized a grand roadshow in Kolkata, showcasing the immense potential of the state’s tourism sector. The event was led by the dynamic Tourism Minister  of Jharkhand, Mr. Sudivya Kumar, accompanied by Mr. Manoj Kumar (Secretary of  Tourism department of Jharkhand), Smt. Anjali Yadav (Director of  Tourism), Mr. Pranav Prakash (Regional Director, Ministry of Tourism), Mr. Prem Ranjan (Managing Director, JTDCL), and Mr. Rajiv Kumar Singh (Deputy Director, Tourism).

FICCI was the co organizers of the Jharkhand Roadshow in Kolkata which took place in Biswa Bangla Convention Centre on 11 April ( b2B meeting) and at Taj tall Kutir on 12 April ( B2C meeting). Smt. Mousumi Ghose , Deputy Secretary General and Head States Division of FICCI also spoke on the occasion.

Mr. Manav Soni,  national committee member of Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI)    and Mr. Debjit Dutta, Chairman ( WB) of IATO also spoke on the occassion.

In the two day Kolkata road show key meetings and partnerships were discussed amongst the  investors and other stakeholders.
During the roadshow, the Jharkhand Tourism Department held crucial discussions with leading hospitality and infrastructure companies in Kolkata, including:

– Ambuja Neotia Group

– Polo Tower

– Conveyor & Ropeway Services

– Shriram Ozone Group (Westin / Vivanta / Fairfield Marriott Hotel)

– Hotel Sonar Bangla

– Peerless Hotels

– Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resorts

Jharkhand – A Hub of Boundless Tourism Opportunities, an audio visual  presentation was also shown to the audience. The star attractions have been the cultural shows.

Jharkhand is renowned for its lush forests, waterfalls, tribal culture, wildlife safaris, and adventure tourism. Through this roadshow, the state government introduced investors and tourism stakeholders to the diverse tourism potential of Jharkhand.

Mr. Sadip Lama, Managing Director of Sumi Yashshree Hotels and Resorts also spoke on the occasion .
