Kanchenjunga Region Hospitality & Tourism Development Association (KRHTDA) is the new face for a few associations brought together to address the region’s service industry with hospitality as the core value item.

The main mission of the organization would be cleanliness and compassion. Without cleanliness, tourism destinations can not flourish, and without compassion, the region can not be tourist friendly.

Next, the association will closely work with local, regional, and national governments, nurturing for

1) Policy & planning

2) Training

3) Market linkage

The Association will organize or help to organize atleast 2 tourism festivals in a year with full involvement and participation of members and their families.

The Association, on a regular basis, will network with other allied tourism service provider associations.

As the first model, the association will closely work with the government to develop Siliguri and adjoining areas as the most tourist friendly area in Asia.
