She reviewed the progress of various budget announcements, departmental schemes, and issued necessary directions.
While reviewing the Public Works Department (PWD), Tourism, and Women & Child Development, she instructed that development works must be completed on time with quality, and experts should be engaged wherever required. She directed that roads under warranty be repaired promptly by contractors, and strict action should be taken against those failing to comply. She also directed officials to explore possibilities of introducing light-and-sound or water shows on Udaipur’s water bodies, on the lines of Singapore and Dubai.

She also instructed officials to work on linking children from Anganwadi centers in tribal and remote areas, who migrate with families to other states, with local Anganwadi centers there so they may benefit.
The Deputy CM directed officers to accelerate development works and ensure time-bound implementation of public welfare schemes. She also discussed prospects of improving the tourism sector and emphasized paying special attention to issues related to the Women & Child Development Department.
Deputy CM Diya Kumari appreciated Udaipur District Collector and the district administration, stating that development works are being executed rapidly and on time. She instructed that continuous reviews and time-bound implementation must be ensured to further strengthen public trust.

District Administration to Be Linked with PWD’s Seva App:
During the review of PWD works, she directed that district administration also be linked with the Seva App, which is currently used for departmental work monitoring. She stated that at present only departmental officials are linked, but connecting district administration will improve on-ground monitoring.
She inquired about the progress of budget-announced works and ordered that damaged roads under warranty be repaired immediately through sensors. She further instructed that all roads damaged during the monsoon must be repaired before the upcoming Diwali. She also directed District Collector Namit Mehta to address and resolve issues related to Forest Department NOCs for various development projects.
Exploring Possibilities of Light & Water Show in Udaipur:
While reviewing the Tourism Department, Deputy CM Diya Kumari instructed that work should be done on possibilities of Night Tourism and Water Shows in Udaipur. She said Udaipur is world-famous for tourism, with its lakes and natural beauty being unmatched. To further boost tourism, light and water show options can be explored, while ensuring lake and environmental conservation as top priority.

She stressed the need to ensure easy access to these sites and availability of basic amenities for visitors. She also reviewed the progress of the Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit and hinted at an early foundation ceremony for the project. She directed that works related to temples and geological sites like Zawar and Jhamarkotda, included in the budget announcements, should also involve services of the Devasthan Department, Archaeology, and other experts.
Strengthening of Anganwadi Centres Must Be Ensured:
