Hyatt Place Butwal successfully welcomed the New Year with a bang, concluding its highly anticipated “New Year’s Eve Under the Stars” event in grand style. The open-air poolside celebration, which kicked off at 7:00 PM on eve of the New Year 2026, transformed the venue into the region’s premier party destination, offering guests a flawless blend of luxury, high-energy entertainment, and culinary delights.
The event, which saw a full house of guests from several parts of Nepal & India, lived up to its promise of being an immersive outdoor experience. Set against the backdrop of the winter sky and the surrounding hills, the poolside arena was illuminated with vibrant lighting, creating a magical atmosphere for bidding farewell to 2025.
The evening was hosted by the charismatic Prapti Ranabhat (Miss Asia Pacific International Nepal 2025), who kept the energy high as the Master of Ceremonies. The entertainment lineup offered a diverse range of performances that captivated the audience throughout the night. The evening began with soulful and rhythmic tunes by the live band ‘Raag and Rhythm,’ followed by a classy and melodious set by a featured Saxophonist, adding a touch of elegance to the dinner service.
As the night progressed, the energy shifted with a mesmerizing Belly Dance performance, leading up to the main highlight of the evening. Celebrity DJ and MTV Splitsvilla fame Subuhi Joshii took over the stage, spinning an electrifying mix of Bollywood and commercial hits that kept the dance floor packed.
Guests indulged in a lavish spread featuring a Live Barbeque (Badel) and enjoyed unlimited premium beverages.
The climax of the night was the dramatic countdown to midnight. As the clock struck 12:00, the poolside erupted in cheers, marked by a spectacular display of pyrotechnics and sparkling effects, officially ushering in 2026.
